A Little Somethin' Somethin' for the Dads (Grandpas) Out There
Here's a great idea for a Father's Day gift! I made this for my dad for his birthday this year (which also happens to be close to my mom's, thus the reason both gifts have already been knocked out this year.)
But, for those of you who are looking for something to show Dad just how much he means to you, this is a great way. Plus, if he's anything like my dad, he can hang this right on the wall in his man cave, and it will fit right in!
The tutorial will be up later this week with a step-by-step. I bought the wood block at Michael's craft store and stained it, used a transfer method to get the words on the wood (which is AWESOME and super easy - I might add!), sealed it, and added a hanging hook on the back. Viola! A masterpiece fit for any proud Papa!
This literally takes no time at all. The lengthiest part is waiting for things to dry. Check back later for the tutorial so you can have the perfect gift for your dad this Father's Day too!
